Hyundai Confirms That the Ioniq 5 N will be Released Next July

After releasing a number of variants for this model, Hyundai will launch the Ioniq 5 N model starting July 2024. This launch is also the introduction of the N division in Indonesia for the first time.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 N will be Launched at GIIAS 2024

As one of Hyundai‘s flagship electric cars in Indonesia, the Ioniq 5 is the first electric car to be assembled locally here. Even though it is sold for more than IDR 500 million, this model is selling very well, and has even become one of the best-selling BEV models in recent months. Even though sales are not as high as before, at least this model is still reliable in the market.

Since the Ioniq 5 is still quite popular here, Hyundai plans to launch other new variants of the BEV model. The new variant in question is the Ioniq 5 N, a high-performance version developed by the N sports car division. This model is also the first high-performance electric car developed by Hyundai’s division, and has been sold in a number of countries.

Introduction to N Division

Even though Hyundai has been present in Indonesia for a long time, they have never sold a single N model here, including the N Line. So the launch of the Ioniq 5 N could be a good opportunity to introduce the N division for the first time. Even though only one model will be sold here, at least they can present the first high-performance BEV product in Indonesia.

Like the base model, the Ioniq 5 N will be assembled locally to meet demand at home and abroad. They can also sell it at a more affordable price, but still ensure the quality is maintained. The launch will be carried out together with the release of the All New Kona EV at GIIAS 2024.
