Subaru Records Sales Increase of 58 Percent in Indonesia

Even though the products offered are mostly SUVs, they all sell well in the market. Subaru car sales also increased by 58 percent from the first two months of this year. Models such as the Crosstrek and BRZ are its main sales contributors.

Subaru Crosstrek and BRZ are much sought after by consumers

Even though it has just returned here, Subaru is bringing more model variants on sale, unlike before. They still offer several SUV models, although now they also sell sports cars such as the BRZ which is quite popular. Apart from the BRZ, the Crosstrek also collected good results too.

Overall, Subaru car sales have increased by 58 percent during January and February 2024. This increase can be said to be very high, even for a brand that has just returned to Indonesia. It is clear that they are very satisfied with the results they obtained, especially since most of them were contributed by superior models such as the Crosstrek and BRZ.

Lots of Demand in the Market

In detail, the Crosstrek is estimated to contribute 40 percent of Subaru car sales in Indonesia, while the BRZ almost reaches 35 percent. Even with this quite large difference, both are still mainstays in their respective markets. This result was obtained due to high demand in the SUV and sportscar markets.

Subaru itself did not specify how many units were sold in the first two months of this year. However, from existing reports, 72 units were sold during that period, and that was contributed by the eight models sold here. Maybe not much, but sales results are not a priority.

They want to continue to present their best products to consumers in Indonesia. Subaru seems to still have other models to be released in the future.
