RiderTua.com, Doha – Jorge Martin won pole position for the Qatar MotoGP race. He was the fastest, in the qualifying session at the Lusail Circuit, Saturday, March 9 2024. In this session, ‘Martinator’ recorded the fastest time of 1 minute 50.789 seconds. The Prima Pramac rider is +0.083 seconds ahead of Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing). The third position was taken by Enea Bastianini (Lenovo Team) as well as completing the riders who will start from the first row (front row) in the Lusail MotoGP race after posting a record time of 1 minute 50.875 seconds.
The following riders will start from the second row, namely: Brad Binder (Red Bull Racing) who in this session recorded a time of 1 minute 50.913 seconds ahead of Francesco Bagnaia (Lenovo Team) with a time of 1 minute 50.928 seconds and Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing) with 1 minute 50.961 seconds. In the third row is rider from the Pertamina VR46 team Fabio Di Giannantonio with a time of 1 minute 51.019 seconds followed by Pedro Acosta (GasGas Tech3) and Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing) with a time of 1 minute 51.130 seconds and 1 minute 51.266 seconds respectively. And the rider who will start from the top 10 is Maverick Vinales (Aprilia Racing), the ESP rider was only able to record a time of 1 minute 51.306 seconds and even though he starts from this position it is still possible to be able to push into the front row during tomorrow’s race…
