Honda Accord e:HEV Crash Tested, Here are the Results

RiderTua.com – Honda has just sold two environmentally friendly cars in Indonesia in the hybrid variants CR-V and Accord. Even though they were imported in CBU form from abroad, both received a good response from consumers. The latest generation Honda Accord has just undergone a crash test conducted by ASEAN NCAP. The results are the same as the CR-V, namely five stars with the best score.

Latest Honda Accord Wins Five Stars in Crash Test

The Accord remains one of the sedans that Honda relies on in the global passenger car market. In Indonesia, this model has just entered its latest generation model, even though it was released recently after the Civic and City received an overhaul several years ago. It’s just that unlike the two, the Accord offers a hybrid or e:HEV variant.

Because it was just released, this Honda sedan was then crash tested by ASEAN NCAP (New Car Assessment Program), and the results were also quite satisfactory, like the CR-V e:HEV. Accord RS e:HEV received a five star rating with a total score of 87.44 out of a total of 100 points. These final results were obtained from a number of tests, from side crash tests to the completeness of the car’s safety features.

Complete Features

In detail, the Accord e:HEV scored 30.90 out of 32 points for adult passenger protection, 45.25 out of 51 points for child passenger protection, and safety assistance technology 19.50 out of 21 points. Don’t forget the safety of motorcyclists with 10 points out of a total of 16 points.

Of course, all this is thanks to the design designed by Honda to provide maximum protection for users in the event of a collision. Moreover, it is supported by complete safety features, all of which are packaged in Honda Sensing, which includes features such as eight airbags, parking sensors, and a rear seat belt reminder. Even though the price is quite expensive, it is worth it for all the features it has.
