RiderTua.com – So far, Mitsubishi has presented a number of new cars in Indonesia. Including the Xforce which has been well received in its market in the last few months and thousands of units have been ordered. Mitsubishi has also set a car sales target for this year, namely 100k units. Even though market conditions are still not as good as expected.

Mitsubishi Sets Car Sales Target in Indonesia

Car sales performance in Indonesia during the first quarter of this year was not that bad. Except in February, where sales experienced a fairly drastic decline. Even though it is not as bad as four years ago, the results are much different from the previous period.

Even in such circumstances, Mitsubishi is still setting a sales target of up to 100k units this year. They already know that the condition of the four-wheeled market in Indonesia is not very good. However, they now have several superior models for sale, such as the Xpander, Pajero Sport, L300, and most recently the Xforce.

    Still a Mainstay

If you look at it, the sales performance of the Xpander (including the Xpander Cross) and Pajero Sport is still quite good. Likewise with the Xforce which has sold thousands of units since its launch last year. Meanwhile, the L300 is still able to record good results even though it is now unable to catch up with its main competitors in its class.

Xforce itself is a new mainstay for Mitsubishi to fill the market between the Xpander Cross and Pajero Sport. Indeed, the compact SUV segment has been quite promising in recent years. Even though the market is now dominated by tough rivals such as the Honda HR-V, Mitsubishi still has the Xforce which can compete with competitors in its segment.

Meanwhile, Mitsubishi will also focus on presenting electrified cars in Indonesia. They are just starting with the release of the L100 EV, and other models will certainly follow after that.
