RiderTua.com – Neta sales in Indonesia started several months ago. They have collected hundreds of inquiries from consumers who are interested in the models and prices offered. The Neta V model itself is sold for under IDR 400 million. Although the model is not yet assembled locally, they plan to assemble it starting this year.
Neta Ready to Present More BEV Models
The good sales of electric cars in the last few months have made brands like Neta interested in selling here. Of the three models introduced, only one model has been sold, namely the Neta V. However, this model has received a good response from the market, and hundreds of units have been ordered since it was first introduced last year.
Neta V is sold at a fairly affordable price, especially with this month’s special discount, the selling price is IDR 317 million. In fact, this hatchback car is still imported directly from abroad. Although this is only being done temporarily until Neta starts production in Indonesia starting next May.
Fulfill Demand in the Market
Later, Neta will collaborate with Handal Indonesia Motor to produce its cars. Coincidentally, Handal also produces Chery cars, and of course this is quite interesting considering that they own two brands from the Bamboo Curtain Country in Indonesia. Moreover, both of them sell electric cars, although Neta focuses more on BEV cars.
The new Neta presents the V model, and it is clear which model will be assembled first. However, other models that have been introduced, such as the Neta U and S, are likely to be produced in Indonesia. With this, Neta is ready to compete against competitors in its market such as Chery and BYD.
