Franco Morbidelli : Too Risky Maneuver, Sledding Jack Miller

RiderTua.com – Jack Miller and Franco Morbidelli collided and then both fell on lap 18 of the Jerez GP on Sunday. Full of emotion, the KTM racer went straight to Franky and got angry with him. But a marshal managed to calm him down.

From Morbidelli’s point of view, the action was unfortunate but it was nothing more than a normal racing incident. According to him, he was actually much faster than Jack during the race. But it was still very difficult for Franky to overtake him. With 7  laps remaining, Jack left the racing line at turn 5 and Morbi tried to take advantage of the gap and move to the inside. That’s where we touched. “That’s very unfortunate,” said Franky.

When asked what Jack Miller said to him in the gravel, Franco Morbidelli’s reaction was completely unexpected. To be honest, Morbi didn’t think he understood anything about it. Turn 5 was thoroughly beaten by all riders especially with the rear tire starting to wear out, and Morbidelli knew that Miller would come back from the outside.

Of course Morbido didn’t want to intentionally cause the Australian to crash, but such an action created an unnecessary risk of injury for the riders involved and a lot of unnecessary work for the mechanics of both teams.
