Hybrid Car Prices in Indonesia are Starting to Change

RiderTua.com – Hybrid cars remain the best-selling type of environmentally friendly car in Indonesia. Because when compared to electric cars, this type of model is quite easy to maintain and is sold at quite affordable prices. Talking about prices, a number of hybrid cars sold in Indonesia are starting to experience price increases. Although not all models experience this, except Suzuki and Toyota.

Prices of Hybrid Cars Have Increased This Month

Toyota has more hybrid cars than other manufacturers in Indonesia, of course with various variants on offer. Entering April, there are a number of models that have experienced price increases, such as the Vellfire and Alphard Hybrid whose prices have increased to IDR 1.818 billion and IDR 1.685 billion. Then the Corolla Cross HEV is now priced at IDR 568.2 million, an increase of around IDR 2 million from the previous price of IDR 540.9 million.

Meanwhile, Suzuki has also done the same thing with its three hybrid cars, namely the Ertiga, XL7 and Grand Vitara. The Ertiga Hybrid is now priced at IDR 276.2 million to IDR 301.8 million, while the XL7 Hybrid has increased to IDR 287.2 million to IDR 308.2 million. The Grand Vitara itself is also included, where this model, which was originally priced at IDR 359.4 million-IDR 387.4 million, has now increased to IDR 362 million-IDR 391.4 million.

There are Still Quite a Lot of Enthusiasts

However, prices for Toyota HEV models other than the Alphard-Vellfire and Corolla, as well as models from Honda, Nissan and Wuling, have not increased. Of the several models sold, the Alphard-Vellfire is sold at a fairly expensive price of more than IDR 1 billion, but demand is still quite high in the market. Meanwhile, the latest hybrid car from Honda is still sought after by consumers even though the CR-V is no longer assembled locally.

Hybrid cars do have a lot of demand in the four-wheeled market in Indonesia, although now there are electric cars at even more affordable prices. Still, consumers prefer HEV cars because they offer good fuel efficiency and are easy to maintain.
