Kia EV9 Wins World Car of the Year Title in 2024

RiderTua.com – There is no doubt about the quality of Kia products. Especially with the BEV models it has sold so far, and some of them have been sold in a number of countries, including Indonesia. One of the models, the Kia EV9, has been recognized for its quality and performance throughout the world. It’s no surprise that this model won the World Car of the Year title this year, as well as the best electric car.

Kia EV9 Wins Two Titles at World Car Awards

Even though Hyundai is quite popular in the global market, Kia actually has a pretty good reputation. They have various models for sale, from SUV models to sedans. Not to forget the electric cars in the EV-series models which are relatively new, but have been welcomed in the market.

Kia itself continues to present other BEV models, but models like the EV9 have been quite popular since they were first released. With the performance and features it offers, it is not surprising that this model is sought after by consumers in a number of large countries such as the United States. So this model deserves the title of best car, as well as the best electric car.

Won Two Titles

In the 2024 World Car Awards, the World Car of the Year title was won by Kia’s electric car, which is none other than the EV9. Interestingly, he not only got one title, but two titles, with the other title being World Electric Vehicle. Of course, this is a very significant achievement for the South Korean brand.

Talking about Kia, Hyundai also won one of the titles, namely World Performance Car for the Ioniq 5 N. Then other models that won other titles were the BMW 5 Series and i5 as World Luxury Car, World Urban Car for the Volvo EX30, and World Car Design of the Year for the Toyota Prius.

It’s not easy to win World Car of the Year with a fairly strict selection process. But Kia can prove it with this electric car.
