Daihatsu and its Three Leading Cars So Far

RiderTua.com – Daihatsu is still one of the best-selling car brands in Indonesia today. Even though they are always behind Toyota, the Japanese brand can record quite good sales results. So far Daihatsu has relied on three cars, namely the Sigra, Gran Max Pick-up and Terios as its main sales contributors. Although other models such as Xenia and Rocky are still selling well in the market.

Daihatsu Still Relies on Sigra in its Segment

The cars sold by Daihatsu are generally entry level cars, and this has become their mainstay in recent years. They do sell a model that is sold at a cheaper price than its twin model from Toyota. Even though sales sometimes don’t always outperform models like the Avanza, the model always gets a good reception from the market.

So far Daihatsu is still relying on sales of its three cars in Indonesia, namely the Sigra, Gran Max Pikap and Terios. When compared with the two models, Sigra has always occupied the top position in car sales over the last few months. Even though the LCGC segment is far superior, overall this model has not been able to outperform the sales of the Kijang Innova model.

Terios and Gran Max

For the Gran Max, this pickup car has remained Daihatsu’s mainstay all this time, with quite satisfactory sales results. Even though it faced problems due to crash test manipulation, this did not affect overall sales. In fact, the Gran Max remains the best-selling model in the light commercial car segment so far.

The Terios is one of two Daihatsu cars that can outperform the sales of its Toyota twin. The sales results are quite good for a low SUV car like the Terios, especially with these results making it superior to other Daihatsu cars. Like Xenia, which has been his mainstay until now.
