RiderTua.com – The Toyota bZ4X has still been able to record quite good sales results over the last few years. Since it was first released, this model has attracted the attention of consumers by offering a number of advantages in terms of performance and features, even though it is quite expensive. Now Toyota is considering presenting a new variant for the bZ4X. The variant in question is GR (Gazoo Racing) Sport.
Regarding electric cars, Toyota has only presented one model in Indonesia, namely the bZ4X. However, this model can become a BEV car that is quite superior in the market, especially in the midst of tight competition so far. Even though it is quite expensive, bZ4X can still record pretty good sales results.
It’s just that Toyota realizes that the bZ4X lacks the variants sold in its market so far, when compared to rivals in its class. Especially after Hyundai presented the Ioniq 5 N last year and it became a quite superior model because it was the first high-performance electric car for the N line-up. It looks like Toyota wants to challenge it with its electric SUV.
It’s just that unlike the Ioniq 5 N, the new variant for the bZ4X is said to be only a GR Sport variant. So it could be said that this variant only provides special accessories from Gazoo Racing, not a GR model like the Supra or Yaris. Even so, Toyota is more concerned with its performance on off-road tracks, so the GR Sport variant was chosen.
Toyota also said that they would give the bZ4X similar treatment as they did to the Hilux GR Sport. Whatever it is, it looks like it will only be limited to the differences in the exterior and interior. But at least this electric SUV could have more choices in the market.
If they want to improve their performance, they can copy the Lexus RZ. Still, the GR Sport clearly changes only to additional accessories.
