Mazda CX-3 Officially Refreshed, Here’s What’s New

RiderTua.com – Mazda through Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI) officially launched a refresh for the CX-3. As previously known, this model is one of the mainstays in the SUV car market here. Mazda CX-3 brings several changes to the exterior and interior. Includes two engine options that can provide a better driving experience.

Mazda Refreshes Its Flagship SUV in Indonesia

From the outside appearance, perhaps at first glance there is nothing different from the previous model. Even so, Mazda gives a sportier impression to its design, so that it looks like a sporty and elegant SUV. The interior is also the same, which is made to emphasize this impression even more.

What’s new about this model is the two variants, namely 1.5 and 2.0, each of which has its own advantages. The CX-3 1.5 prioritizes fuel efficiency providing a better driving experience, while the CX-3 2.0 focuses more on performance and complete premium features. So it can be guessed that the 2.0 variant is sold at a more expensive price, priced at IDR 495.5 million, while the 1.5 variant is only IDR 399.9 million.

Affordable Prices

From the engine side, you can also see the difference, where the 1.5 variant uses a 1,500 cc engine, while the 2.0 uses a 2,000 cc engine, both in the form of SkyActiv-G. In terms of performance, the first engine is capable of producing 111 ps of power and 144 Nm of torque, while the second engine has 149 ps and 195 Nm of power and torque. Mazda has also equipped it with G-Vectoring Control to increase vehicle responsiveness and maximize comfort when driving.

As previously explained, the CX-3 is priced quite affordable at under IDR 500 million. Of course, this can make it easier for Mazda to target the entry level segment, with most of its products aimed more at the premium car market. Still, the CX-3 offers the luxury car-style quality that has been its trademark for so long.

Mazda continues to rely on its CX line-up in Indonesia. Of course, with more variants compared to previous years.
