RiderTua.com – Haval is one of three brands carried by Great Wall Motor (GWM) in Indonesia besides Tank and Ora. Like Tank, this brand has many SUV models at its disposal, although they only sell the H6. Haval actually also has one other model, namely the Jolion, but GWM has other plans. They want to assemble it locally so they don’t have to import it from abroad.
The Haval H6 and Jolion are the two SUVs presented by GWM in Indonesia first apart from the Tank 500. Although unlike the Tank 500, both are sold for under IDR 1 billion, although they still offer good quality. Apart from that, Haval sells hybrid cars, and they will also assemble the cars here.
Indeed, GWM has plans to assemble its cars in Indonesia, but they have to choose which model to assemble first. Of the three models it currently sells, the Jolion is the model with high potential for production. Jolion was chosen because the price is more affordable than the H6 or Tank 500.
Jolion is an SUV with a 1,500 cc hybrid turbo engine that can produce high performance but is still environmentally friendly. Of course, a car like this is equipped with complete safety features, from ADAS, lane-keep assist, to adaptive cruise control. Apart from being more environmentally friendly, Jolion is also more fuel efficient, so you don’t need to refuel several times.
GWM’s new car line-up includes the Haval and Tank, while the Ora is still not on sale for now. They are said to be looking for an electric car battery manufacturer in Indonesia before starting production here. Of course, so they can sell BEV cars at affordable prices.
