RiderTua.com – Chery car sales over the last few months in Indonesia have still been quite good. Especially for the newest electric car, the Omoda E5, which has received a lot of demand from the market since it was first released last February. Because demand is still high, Chery decided to increase its production capacity. Although they also have to fulfill requests for other models.
Chery Omoda E5 is Increasingly Selling in Indonesia
Electric cars like the Omoda E5 may take a long time to adapt to the market. But Chery was able to prove that this new car could sell well even though it had only just been presented in Indonesia. This is proven by its sales results which exceeded 1,000 units throughout last March, and it became one of the best-selling BEV cars here.
Chery said that so far more than 3,000 Omoda E5 units have been ordered, and this figure will continue to increase every month. Obviously this means they have to fulfill all these orders, with a production capacity of only 600 units per month. Not to mention that they are still fulfilling requests for other models, including the petrol engine version of the Omoda 5.

High Demand in the Market
Chery will try to meet all demand for Omoda E5 in Indonesia, and later they will increase its production capacity. Of course they prioritize their electric cars, even though Omoda 5 also gets a lot of demand from the market. Still, when compared to the conventional version, the E5 is the most sought after by consumers.
So far, Chery has still been able to meet demand for its electric cars without facing long order queues. Although they still have to anticipate it so that undesirable things don’t happen, such as long pivots or something like that. So they will try their best to overcome it.
