Two Wuling Cars Lead Electric Car Sales in Q1 2024

In fact, Wuling still leads sales of BEV models in Indonesia throughout the first quarter of this year. With Air EV and Binguo being its mainstays during that period until now.

Wuling Able to Record Good Car Sales Results

The electric car market in Indonesia is now running quite tight with more and more car brands arriving here. Brands like Hyundai and Wuling certainly have to try to survive amidst these conditions, by providing the best products. Although initially they had a limited choice of models, such as Wuling with Air EV.

However, slowly they were able to become one of the best-selling electric car brands in Indonesia. Wuling then released its second electric car, namely Binguo, and also achieved very satisfying sales results. Throughout the first quarter of this year, Binguo was able to sell 3,121 units, with details in January selling 1,876 units, February 428 units, and March 817 units.

‘ABC’ Line-up

Meanwhile, Air EV recorded fewer results than Binguo, with results of 6 units in January, 451 units in February, and 229 units in March, and a total of 686 units. The difference is very large compared to Binguo, but Wuling is satisfied with the sales results obtained by its two electric cars. Because both of them can make Wuling one of the best-selling electric car brands in Indonesia.

Now Wuling is presenting another BEV model in the form of the Cloud EV, as well as completing its ‘ABC’ electric car line-up. This model has just opened orders and will be sent to consumers starting this month. Wuling places it in a higher segment than the Air EV and Binguo, because this model has more features compared to the previous two electric cars.
