RiderTua.com – Suzuki GSX-250R, a sport touring motorbike which is only sold in 2 countries, namely Japan and China at the moment. The motorbike has just received an update for the 2024 model, especially those present in Sakura Country. The equipment is now the same as the model sold in China.
The update is in the headlights, which initially used ordinary halogen bulbs, changed to full-LED, complete with DRLs and the addition of a slipper clutch assist feature as standard. Continuing with the new color choices, there are now 4 colors, namely Triton Blue Metallic, Pearl Glacier White, Diamond Red Metallic, and Pearl Nebula Black. The 2 colors blue and white are the colors that were already available on the Chinese market first.
The 2024 model GSX-250R in Japan is priced at 635.800 yen or around IDR 66,3 million. Judging from the price, there is a slight price increase compared to the previous model in 2023.
In terms of design, it seems that it still maintains the characteristics of the GSX line, for example the GSX-R750 and also the GSX-R1000, unfortunately both models have been discontinued, meaning they have stopped production. Suzuki has equipped this full-fairing motorbike with a 250cc 2-cylinder, SOHC 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine capable of producing 24,6 HP (equivalent to 18,4 kW) at 8.000 rpm and 23,4 Nm of torque at 6.500 rpm. The engine is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission.
