RiderTua.com – Honda may also experience a slowdown in car sales in Indonesia during the first quarter of this year. But at least the results he got were still able to record a sales increase of up to 19 percent. Last month, Honda successfully sold 10,706 car units at retail. SUV cars are still the main contributor to overall sales, although the Brio is still selling well.
Honda Sells 10k Car Units in March 2024
With the condition of the car market both in Indonesia and globally not being good, Honda can still survive in this condition. They were able to record a sales increase of up to 19 percent last March compared to the previous month. A total of 10,706 cars were sold at retail, and this result has made it one of the brands that was not affected by the slowdown in car sales in Indonesia last month.
Brio remains one of its flagships with sales reaching 4,495 units, both the LCGC Satya model and the RS city car. Of course, the Brio has been relied on by Honda for a long time, with its sales always outperforming other models, such as the HR-V. However, in Honda’s SUV line-up, the HR-V is still the best-selling model in recent years.

Most Sold SUV Cars
Honda noted that 5,531 SUV units had been sold in Indonesia throughout March, with the HR-V still selling more at 1,862 units. Followed by other models such as the BR-V with 1,594 units, WR-V 1,524 units and CR-V 551 units. If you look, there is a very small difference in sales between the BR-V and WR-V, obviously because both are sold at affordable prices, but neither can beat the HR-V.
Then another model that also contributed good results was the City Hatchback with 283 units sold. Followed by the Civic Sedan RS with 170 units, Mobilio 146 units, Accord 62 units, City 15 units, and Civic Type R 4 units.
