There is No Increase in LCGC Car Prices This Month

In fact, sales were quite good throughout last year, with the Daihatsu Sigra becoming the best-selling model in its segment. Entering March, LCGC car prices have not increased. Meanwhile, competition remains fierce even with five models being sold here.

No LCGC Cars Have Experienced Price Increases This Month

The entry level car market is still a target for Indonesian consumers today amidst intense competition in a number of segments. Not only in the SUV and MPV segments, LCGC cars also have quite tight competition. But when compared to other segments, there are only five models available, consisting of the Toyota Calya-Daihatsu Sigra, Agya-Ayla, and Honda Brio Satya.

Of the five cars, none of them has increased their selling price since early March. All models sold are priced below IDR 200 million, although models such as the most expensive variant of the Brio Satya almost touch that figure. Still, this model is one of the best sellers, although it is now often outperformed by the Sigra.

Stay Ahead in the Market

Of the many variants provided, Ayla is the cheapest LCGC with a price of IDR 135 million. Meanwhile, the highest variant of the Brio Satya is the most expensive LCGC, because its price tag reaches more than IDR 198 million, almost reaching IDR 200 million. Of course, if the price is too expensive the model can no longer be said to be LCGC.

So far, LCGC car sales in Indonesia are still quite stable, with Sigra continuing to lead sales in its market. Indeed, conditions were not very good at the start of this year, but Daihatsu, Toyota and Honda were still able to record maximum sales results. Especially Daihatsu has favored Sigra in its market so far.
