Daihatsu Sigra is still the best-selling car, followed by Gran Max Pick-Up and Terios. Meanwhile, other models such as Xenia and Rocky still provide quite good results too.
Daihatsu Sigra Remains its Best-Selling Car
Throughout January to April, car sales in Indonesia continued to record good results. However, the decline in sales in February was caused by the decline in car market conditions due to several factors, such as domestic economic conditions and inflation in the United States. Not to mention the many holidays which also affect overall sales.
Even under these circumstances, Daihatsu was still able to record sales of up to 61,566 car units in the first four months of this year. From these results, the LCGC 7-seater Sigra remains the best-selling car with results reaching 20,299 units, or 33 percent of total sales. Gran Max Pick-up and Terios followed, selling 14,214 units and 7,881 units respectively, while their contribution percentages reached 23.1 percent and 12.8 percent.

Of course, cars like the Sigra already have a lot of interest in Indonesia because they are affordable and can carry lots of passengers. Then the Gran Max Pick-Up remains reliable for entrepreneurs who are looking for a pickup car with a large enough carrying capacity and sold at a low price. The Terios itself received a refresh last year, and its sales are still quite good, although not as much as its twin, the Toyota Rush.
Daihatsu is quite happy with the results it has obtained. Even though these three models always occupy the top position, other models such as Xenia, Rocky, Ayla, and Sirion can still contribute quite good results too.
