RiderTua.com – Haval, which was brought by Great Wall Motor (GWM) to Indonesia, presents two of its superior SUVs. One of them is the H6, which is quite reliable in the global market apart from Jolion. The Haval H6 has a 1,500 cc petrol engine as well as an electric motor and battery, making it more environmentally friendly. It doesn’t stop there, the car is also more fuel efficient with a number of features it has.
Haval H6 is Present as an SUV with a Hybrid Engine
Even though it has only just arrived in Indonesia, GWM can bring three of its brands here, although Haval and Tank were presented first. They launched three SUV models, consisting of the Haval H6 and Jolion and Tank 500, and all of them are hybrid cars. Currently, the models are still imported directly from abroad, but GWM will assemble its cars locally starting this year.
The H6 has a fairly modern and sporty design, and has a fairly powerful hybrid engine. Hybrid cars are usually known for their good fuel efficiency and minimal emissions, and clearly this Haval SUV has both. It’s just that the H6 has a feature that allows it to consume less fuel, namely ‘one pedal mode’.

Unique Feature
This mode can be activated via vehicle settings on the head unit, and this feature is useful in optimizing battery usage when the car is idling and the transmission is in Park (P) mode. When the gas pedal is released, the car experiences smoother deceleration, of course this is done so that the battery function is maintained. After that, the car can still be driven as usual, and fuel efficiency is maintained better.
This ‘one pedal mode’ feature can usually be found in electric cars and serial hybrid cars, where this type of HEV model has wheels driven by an electric motor. The H6 itself is a unique hybrid car, because it uses a parallel hybrid system with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission. This is why Haval provides this feature on the H6.
