RiderTua.com – Wuling Cloud EV is a complement to electric cars in Indonesia after releasing the Air EV and Binguo. This model has larger dimensions than the two previous BEV models, and offers a longer driving range. It’s just that Wuling doesn’t include a sunroof on the Cloud EV. Even though models like the Alvez which are sold cheaper already have a sunroof.
Wuling Doesn’t Embed Sunroof in Cloud EV
A car like the Cloud EV certainly looks elegant and modern as an electric car. Even though the price is more expensive than the Air EV and Binguo, this model already has many advantages compared to the two BEV models. Such as the latest WIND voice command feature, more spacious cabin space, and guaranteed comfort.
Despite its modern appearance, the Cloud EV doesn’t have a sunroof, which might not be a big deal. But this is quite confusing because Wuling provides a sunroof on the Alvez, but this SUV is sold at a cheaper price than the Cloud EV. As a comparison, the Alvez is priced from IDR 214 million to IDR 300 million, while the Cloud EV is priced at IDR 410 million.

Can Be More Competitive
Wuling explained that they did not embed a sunroof on the Cloud EV so that the selling price could be more competitive. Because if you add a sunroof, the price of the car will be Rp. 8-10 million more expensive, so the price will increase to Rp. 418-420 million. Although perhaps consumers don’t really mind that, because most consumers buy the most expensive variant of a car.
Apart from that, Wuling adapts its car features to its target market. Maybe this is why the Cloud EV does not have a sunroof, and is available in only one variant, unlike the two previous electric cars. But this is enough to provide an electric car that is more luxurious than the Air EV or Binguo.
