RiderTua.com – Toyota has introduced a number of rebadged cars in collaboration with Suzuki in India in recent years. Like the Urban Cruiser which is a rebadged model of the Brezza and is successfully sold in the market. Now Toyota launched another variant called the Urban Cruiser Taisor some time ago. Unlike before, this model uses a base from Fronx.
Toyota Presents New Variant of Urban Cruiser
As previously known, the Urban Cruiser was introduced to enliven the SUV market in India, and this model is based on the Suzuki Brezza. Currently the model is no longer produced, but Toyota has presented a replacement, known as the Urban Cruiser Taisor. As usual, this model is the result of a rebadging of one of Suzuki’s cars, more precisely the Fronx.
From the exterior design, it looks very similar to the Fronx, even though Toyota has given the car a different rim and grille design. Apart from that, the dimensions are larger than the twin models, of course to provide more spacious cabin space. Even the features are nothing different from the Fronx, including a 9-inch headunit that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Sold in India Only
The Urban Cruiser Taisor still has a number of other complete features, from multiple airbags, 360 degree cameras, to cruise control. For the engine, Toyota offers two choices, namely a 1,200 cc engine with 90 ps of power and 113 Nm of torque, and a 1,000 cc turbo with 100 ps of power and 148 Nm of torque. Two transmission options are also provided, namely 5-speed manual and automatic.
As usual, Toyota cars are always known for the many variants they sell, and the Urban Cruiser Taisor is one of them. Presenting 12 variants, this compact SUV is sold at prices starting from IDR 147.4 million to IDR 248.4 million. Obviously, because the model is a rebadged Suzuki car, this model cannot be sold abroad and is only available in India.
