RiderTua.com – Chery has started production of the Omoda E5 in Indonesia since December last year. Before this electric SUV was launched two months later, it successfully collected hundreds of orders from consumers. Now Chery has started sending its units to 1,000 consumers who have ordered since last year. Then they will fulfill other requests, including this year’s customers.
Chery Starts Delivery of 1,000 Omoda E5 Units
Despite the many models it offers in Indonesia, the Omoda 5 has become a new mainstay for Chery for more than a year. After presenting the GT trim, this SUV model received an electric variant which was introduced in August last year, before being officially released in February this year. Since then, they have collected thousands of orders from consumers.
So far, the reception of the Omoda E5 in the market is still quite good, especially with the model offering complete features and an affordable price. It’s no wonder why this model has become a target for Indonesian consumers since it was first released. With production starting at the end of last year, Chery started fulfilling orders after the model was launched.
Many Requests
Until this month, Chery collected up to 3,000 Omoda E5 orders from consumers, and of course this number will continue to increase every month. During that time, they will also continue to meet demand in their market, with 1,000 units already delivered to consumers. Meanwhile, another 2,000 units will be sent in the next few months.
Chery may still rely on Omoda 5 in Indonesia, but that doesn’t mean they only sell one model. They provide many other choices, including the Tiggo series which has been their mainstay for so long. The newest model, namely the Tiggo 5x, was launched together with the Omoda E5 although sales have not started yet.
