Great Wall Motor Opens Orders for Tank 500
As is known, the Tank 500 is one of two models that will be sold by Great Wall Motor (GWM) in Indonesia. The design is quite dashing for a ladder frame SUV, at first glance it looks like an ICE (internal combustion engine) car in general. Even though this model actually uses a hybrid engine, it is the first in its class.
As for the price, the Tank 500 is sold for IDR 1.196 billion, and that is quite expensive. But it’s clear because this car is a type of luxury off-road SUV which is placed in a similar segment to the Toyota Land Cruiser. The Tank 500 is equipped with a number of complete, modern features and guaranteed quality.
Hybrid SUV
Please remember that this price is valid until the end of March, and after that the price will change again. I don’t know whether there will be plans to produce it locally, including other models from the Haval and Ora brands. GWM does have plans to produce its cars locally, but now is not the right time.
They want to focus on selling their models first, as well as further introducing their three brands to the Indonesian people. Initially GWM carried four brands, but Neta then sold as a separate manufacturer and separate from GWM.
However, they still have Ora, but sales have not started at this time. GWM is still focused on selling models from Haval and Tank first.
