Suzuki Gets Many Requests for the Jimny 5-Door
Cars like the Jimny 5-door do get a lot of orders from consumers. So it’s not surprising why this model has been hotly contested by consumers since it was first launched in Indonesia last month, even before it was officially released, someone had already ordered it. The amount is quite large, but Suzuki can still fulfill it.
However, as time went by, they realized that the number of orders continued to increase. Now there is a backlog of orders which results in quite long queues and can take quite a long time. Even though the waiting time has only reached one year and five months, it is still shorter compared to the Jimny 3-door which can exceed five years.
Queuing for Months?
Apart from high demand, there are a number of salespeople who sell it at a higher price than recommended. Suzuki has gone to great lengths to address this problem, but it still keeps popping up. They will immediately find out who the salespeople are doing that kind of thing, which causes the order queue to pile up.
So far, they are still trying to meet the demand in the market. It is indeed quite difficult to deal with the problem of backlogs of orders due to a number of these problems, but of course this is not the first time this has happened. Suzuki is always confused by this condition, especially when it comes to quite popular cars like the Jimny.
Maybe the pivot queue wasn’t as long as expected, but now it’s been more than a year long. But at least the queue is not that long compared to the 3-door model.
