RiderTua.com – Suzuki just introduced the Jimny 5-door in Indonesia last month, but the model has already received a good reception from the market. Many customers like its design and larger dimensions, allowing the car to carry more passengers. So far Suzuki has been able to collect up to 1.8k units of the Jimny 5-door over three weeks. These results are quite good for a car that has just been released.
Sales of Suzuki cars in Indonesia are still quite good, despite a decline in sales last January. But so far they have been able to score quite good sales results, and most of them have been contributed by MPV and SUV models. Jimny is one of the main contributors, from 3-door to 5-door models, all of them are selling well.
So far, the acceptance of the Jimny 5-door in the market is still quite good, especially with the high demand in the market. Suzuki said that in the last three weeks they have collected around 1.8k units of orders for this newest car. This is quite a high figure, especially after sales were helped by the IIMS 2024 exhibition which was held last month.
These results prove that demand for SUV cars like the Jimny is still quite high in Indonesia. For the 3-door model, the order queue has decreased, but that doesn’t mean that interest has simply decreased. Suzuki admits that it is still getting orders for the Jimny 3-door from Indonesian customers until now.
Meanwhile, the 5-door model is clearly still getting a lot of orders since it was first released at IIMS 2024. Even though the figures it got were also obtained from orders that were opened two months earlier. But that’s not a problem for Suzuki, as long as they can collect a lot of demand from customers.
Suzuki can only receive 100 units per month, although the pivot queue is quite shorter than the Jimny 3-door. At least for now, because this model is much sought after by consumers all over the world.
