RiderTua.com – Chery has prepared a new brand to be presented in Indonesia, namely Jaecoo. Although Omoda is actually a separate brand from it, this model is ultimately sold under its brand. But that doesn’t stop Chery from presenting other brands that are still relatively new to the global market. Jaecoo will be his newest brand and will be presented sooner than initially expected.
Chery Wants to Immediately Present Its Newest Brand in Indonesia
Like Omoda, Jaecoo is still relatively new because it was launched last year, but the model has already received good reception from the market. Both of them have even become car brands with the fastest market expansion throughout the world. Indeed, Chery does not want to miss the opportunity to expand its product line-up, especially sub-brands to fill the SUV segment.
The good news is that Jaecoo will soon be launched in Indonesia, although unlike Omoda, the model will be sold under its own brand and separate from Chery. Still, Chery ensures that this product can fill markets that it has not yet reached. Although at first they were hesitant to decide when Jaecoo would be presented in Indonesia.

Jaecoo 7 and 8
However, with its right-hand drive car already in mass production, Chery will soon accelerate the launch of the Jaecoo in Indonesia. If there are no other obstacles, they can launch Jaecoo around early 2025. Although Chery claims to be able to speed up the launch, of course so that consumers can get their units even faster.
So far Jaecoo has only sold two models, namely J7 and J8. The Jaecoo 7 will be the first model launched here and will be a new competitor to the Honda HR-V, Hyundai Creta and Mazda CX-5. Although Jaecoo is also interested in bringing its electric car, Jaecoo 6, to Indonesia.
