Suzuki Ensures Jimny 3-Door in Indonesia is Safe from Recall

RiderTua.com – Suzuki recalled the Jimny 3-door in Australia several months ago. Not to mention the recall of two previous cars in India involving the Wagon R and Baleno Hatchback. However, Suzuki ensures that the Jimny 3-door in Indonesia is still safe from the recall. Although the fuel pump recall is still ongoing until now.

Suzuki Jimny 3-Door in Indonesia Not Affected by Recall

So far Suzuki‘s recall still involves models such as the Wagon R and Baleno in India. This is related to the replacement of fuel pump components that need to be replaced, and of course there are those who are worried that the recall could reach Indonesia. Even though the Wagon R is no longer produced, there is still the Baleno Hatchback which was imported directly from India.

Of course, this fuel pump problem is related to the previous Jimny 3-door recall, even though the unit being recalled is very different. So Suzuki ensures that the SUV will not be worse affected by the Baleno Hatchback recall. However, replacement of these components is still ongoing until now.

Demand Still High

As previously known, Suzuki is recalling the Jimny 3-door to replace the car’s fuel pump. Actually, this is not the first time this has happened, even other brands such as Toyota and Honda have also recalled fuel pumps in Indonesia. But it is rare for an imported model like the Jimny to have its model repaired because of this problem.

So far, Jimny still has quite high demand in the market. Suzuki is still trying to meet existing demand, both 3-door and 5-door models. Despite these recalls, including those carried out in Australia two months ago, demand has not decreased at all.
