The LCGC Car Segment is Still Led by Daihatsu Sigra

RiderTua.com – LCGC cars have still recorded quite good sales results over the last few years. Even though this type of car no longer receives incentives, its sales are observed to be quite stable even though conditions in the market are not very conducive. Daihatsu Sigra still led sales in the LCGC car segment last month in Indonesia. Still, overall sales experienced a slowdown due to market conditions at that time.

The Best-Selling LCGC Car is Still Owned by Daihatsu

In the last month, car sales in Indonesia have decreased compared to last January. Economic conditions in the domestic market and market conditions abroad are one of the causes of this decline in sales. Of course, many segments are affected by this, including LCGC cars.

Sigra remains the sales leader in its segment with 5,543 units sold. When compared with last year in the same period, the LCGC 7-seater from Daihatsu experienced an increase in sales, although with a fairly small difference in sales. In contrast to the Sigra, the Honda Brio Satya actually experienced a decline, from 4.7 thousand units sold to now 4,288 units.

Dominate the Market

Meanwhile, the Toyota Calya is still in third place with 3,219 units sold, even though it has the same fate as the Brio Satya, because its sales decreased from last year. Toyota Agya and Daihatsu Ayla each recorded an increase in sales, now both have sold 1,676 units and 1,653 units. Agya recorded a significant increase, so she was able to take fourth place from her twin.

LCGC’s car sales performance so far is still quite good, but it is not enough to provide an overall increase. Toyota and Daihatsu still dominate this segment, with Honda only selling one model. Even just relying on the Brio Satya alone is enough to contribute to sales for Honda so far.
