RiderTua.com – BMW has been able to become one of the most successful luxury car brands in Indonesia. How could it not be, so far sales have still recorded satisfactory results and sometimes the results always increase. During the first quarter of this year alone, BMW car sales rose by 12 percent. They can sell up to 775 cars during that period.
BMW Records Increase in Car Sales in Q1 This Year
When compared with the previous year in the same period, BMW at that time sold 695 units, now sales have increased by 12 percent to 775 units. Even though it only sold hundreds of cars, this result is quite good, especially for a luxury car manufacturer like BMW. Moreover, amidst the decline in sales during this period, they seemed unaffected by this condition.
From these results, his SUV line-up has controlled 63.7 percent of the premium SUV market in Indonesia, and that is already a good result. Although this is not surprising, considering that SUVs are still the type of car that is much sought after by global consumers today. Moreover, BMW continues to present its newest SUV models in the last few months.

Many New Models
Even though his SUV still recorded satisfactory results, the 3 Series became BMW’s best-selling car during the first quarter of this year with 19 percent of sales contributed. Followed by X5 and X1 with contributions reaching 16 and 13 percent respectively. Even with the popularity of SUVs, the 3 Series is still the best-selling model so far.
BMW also recorded sales results for electric cars which were good enough to contribute 8 percent of total sales. Even though they have just been released, models such as the iX1, iX xDrive50, and i5 have not recorded sales results at this time. Obviously because these three were just launched this year.
