RiderTua.com – Suzuki presented the Jimny 5-door in Indonesia last February and it was well received in the market. Like the 3-door model, the Jimny received many orders from consumers, but the number exceeded initial expectations. Even so, Suzuki was still able to deliver the car quickly. As if the backlog of orders for the Jimny 5-door doesn’t have a big impact on the distribution of units.

Suzuki Has Sent 400 Jimny 5-Door Units to Consumers

Jimny is one of the best-selling Suzuki cars in Indonesia so far. Indeed, they still have locally assembled models such as the Ertiga, XL7, and Carry, but the Jimny is quite successful in selling in its market even though it is a CBU car from abroad. It’s clear consumers don’t want to miss the opportunity to buy one of Suzuki’s iconic SUVs.

However, as before, the Jimny 5-door received a lot of orders from consumers, and the order queue could even reach five months. Suzuki itself has anticipated this situation, although this time the queue is not that long compared to the 3-door model. So they can send the units to consumers quickly.

    Orders Still Piling Up

Suzuki said that consumers of the Jimny 5-door were satisfied with the fairly fast delivery of their units. Moreover, the order queue is not as long as the 3-door model since it was launched in Indonesia several years ago. Of course, this can make it easier to send units to consumers even if there is a backlog of orders.

Like the 3-door model, the Jimny 5-door is still imported directly from abroad, but this time imported from India. Even with high demand in Indonesia, Suzuki has no plans to assemble it locally, especially if market research has not been carried out first. They have to see whether demand exceeds production capabilities abroad or not.
