RiderTua.com – Nissan is actually now starting the electrification of its cars in Indonesia. After launching the Kicks e-Power, they introduced the Leaf electric car, and both were well received in their markets. But it looks like Nissan wants to present another e-Power model. Now they are rumored to be launching the X-Trail e-Power as the next newest model here.
Nissan will Present Another e-Power Model
Regarding environmentally friendly cars, Nissan does have various models sold in Japan. Not only BEV cars, they also have hybrid cars in the e-Power variant, even though there are actually more models that have this technology. It’s just that so far they only have one e-Power model sold in Indonesia, namely the Kicks e-Power.
However, they plan to add more environmentally friendly models in Indonesia, especially after the release of the BEV Leaf last year. The Serena e-Power is one of those that will be launched, considering the model that has been registered here. Now the X-Trail e-Power has also been registered, and this likely means both will be launched in the near future.
Latest Electrified Cars
Nissan Motor Indonesia (NMI) itself has not provided an explanation regarding the X-Trail and Serena e-Power which have been registered. Although this could be a good thing, because in the end they are now more active in launching new cars in Indonesia. Even though models like the X-Trail are no longer locally assembled, at least now the model has an environmentally friendly variant.
The presence of these two e-Power models will open a new chapter for Nissan in electrifying its cars in Indonesia. Since launching the Kicks e-Power, they have become increasingly interested in presenting other environmentally friendly cars. Including the Leaf electric car which was released last year.
Even though they have only just started electrification, at least Nissan has started to catch up with its competitors. They will present their newest electrified car in the near future, even though it is still a hybrid.
