RiderTua.com – Last year Hyundai presented the Ioniq 5 N which was produced directly by the N sports car division. This car is the first electric car to get the N variant, which improves performance and other technical features. Not only that, Hyundai also presents a racing version of the Ioniq 5 N called the eN1 Cup. It can be guessed that this model was specifically designed as a racing car.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 N eN1 Cup Officially Shown
The Ioniq 5 N was officially launched last year, and this model brings various advantages in terms of performance and features. Of course, all of this is presented by the Hyundai N sports car division which is famous for presenting various sporty models from several models such as the Kona. However, as if there is still no shortage of other new models, Hyundai is presenting the eN1 Cup variant which is designed as a racing car.
To be able to produce a car with high performance, Hyundai had to reduce its weight by 265 kg, so that now the eN1 Cup model only weighs 1,970 kg. Slick tires and suspension with 2-way adjustable damper, ride height and adjustable camber are also included in this model. As a racing car, the large rear spoiler can be clearly seen on the rear door of the car, as well as differentiating it from the standard model.

More Optimal Performance
The interior of the eN1 Cup is also made differently from the Ioniq 5 N, where all parts of the cabin have been completely changed. Then Hyundai added bakap bucket seats, a roll cage, a typical racing car steering wheel with several function buttons, and even a digital head unit. Because electric cars like this cannot produce engine sounds, Hyundai provides virtual sounds that can be modified by the car owner.
I don’t know whether this model will be sold in limited quantities or not, considering that the model has different specifications from the Ioniq 5 N. But at least Hyundai can present a variant that has more optimal performance compared to the base model. With all these improvements, if it goes on sale it could be more expensive than the Ioniq 5 N.
