RiderTua.com – Mazda still brings in all its cars from abroad to sell in Indonesia. However, because they were too dependent on imported models, Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI) finally considered assembling them locally. It is certain that they will build a Mazda car assembly factory here, precisely in West Java. Later they will assemble a compact crossover model considering that there are quite a lot of fans.
Mazda will Assemble its Cars Locally in Indonesia
So far, EMI has always imported Mazda cars from Japan, both SUV, crossover, hatchback and sedan models. Apart from being an imported model, the quality also affects the selling price, so it is priced quite expensive. Although not all models are sold at expensive prices, there are still entry level models such as the CX-5.
However, in recent years, demand for Mazda cars has continued to increase. So this is what made EMI think of assembling a number of its models in Indonesia to meet the high demand in its market. Later they will build an assembly factory located in West Java, with an investment estimated at IDR 400 billion.

CX Series models?
Of course, this is not a small cost, considering that EMI is very serious about producing Mazda cars in Indonesia. Even though it is assembled locally, they ensure that the quality is not reduced, and they will provide the best to consumers. With this, EMI marks the start of a new era for Mazda after being here for so long.
Regarding the model that will be produced, EMI still does not want to explain further, but the clues point to a compact crossover model. I don’t know what model is meant, whether it is a CX-5 model or another car. What is clear is that everything seems to point to one of the models in the CX series.
Whatever it is, EMI is ready to assemble Mazda cars in Indonesia. This includes strengthening sales so far.
