Like the previously released C5 Aircross, this variant is a sporty version of the previously released C3, although it is sold at an affordable price. After its release, Citroen will start shipping units to consumers starting next month. This is clear because the units are still imported directly from abroad.

Citroen car sales in Indonesia may not be as many as its competitors, but they can still present their best products here. So far they have only presented a number of SUV and hatchback models, all of which were imported directly from abroad. Still, the model is sold at a fairly affordable price for a CBU car.
Now they are presenting another newest SUV in Indonesia in the C3 Aircross model. The design does look sportier compared to the C3 or e-C3, but the selling price is quite affordable for a 7-seater SUV. So it is not surprising that this model has become a target for consumers since the model was first introduced last year at GIIAS 2023.

Because it was only released today, Citroen clearly still needs time to prepare its distribution. They plan to send the units to consumers who have ordered starting early next month. The number of orders he has received so far has not been disclosed, but it could be that hundreds of units have been ordered since last year.
Although most of the models sold in Indonesia are imported from India, the C3 Aircross is imported directly from Thailand. Although Citroen explained that this model was originally made at Stellantis’ factory in India, and then sent to Thailand for further assembly. So Indonesia has to queue with other countries that also sell the C3 Aircross.
So far, the C3 Aircross is the 7 seater SUV with the cheapest price in its class, especially in the low SUV segment. Models such as the Daihatsu Terios to the Honda BR-V are still less cheap than this Citroen car. Although competition in this segment is quite tight, especially with models like the Toyota Rush which dominate the market.
