RiderTua.com – Citroen has finally launched its newest car in Indonesia, namely the C3 Aircross. This SUV is another new variant of the e-C3 and C3 which was launched several months ago, as well as an additional Aircross variant sold here. Like the electric model, the Citroen C3 Aircross is sold at an affordable price of under IDR 300 million. So this model can become a new opponent in the low SUV segment.
Citroen C3 Aircross has been Launched in Indonesia
Although initially many thought this model would be available as a 5-seater SUV, Citroen actually presented a 7-seater version. Indeed, this is not the first time the C3 Aircross has been present in Indonesia, because this model was introduced at the GIIAS exhibition last year. Now they are starting to sell it, of course at an affordable price.
Citroen cars have long been known for their soft suspension, so driving this car can be more comfortable even though it is an SUV. Even though it looks like a compact SUV, the C3 Aircross has quite large dimensions, so it can accommodate lots of passengers and luggage inside. The ground clearance of this car is also quite high, namely 200 mm.
New Opponent in the LSUV Segment
The C3 Aircross has a number of features such as a 10.2 inch headunit, 7 inch TFT screen, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Other features are also provided for this model, such as dual SRS airbags, hill hold assist, reverse parking camera, ABS-EBD brakes, tire pressure monitoring system, and ESP. Then the engine uses a 1,200 cc turbo 3 cylinder engine with 110 ps of power and 205 Nm of torque.
With a price of IDR 289.9 million (on-the-road Jakarta), the C3 Aircross is a new contender in the low SUV segment in Indonesia. So this model will face quite tough rivals in its class, from the Toyota Rush, Daihatsu Fortuner, Suzuki XL7, Hyundai Stargazer X, to the Honda BR-V.
