However, Wuling succeeded in recording satisfactory results from Binguo last month. This hatchback car is still the best-selling BEV model in Indonesia, outperforming its competitors.
Wuling Still Dominates the Electric Car Market in Indonesia
Sales of electric cars in Indonesia are still quite good, although last March not a single model sold more than 1,000 units. Even so, the results were better than in February, where sales rose 48.1 percent or could be said to have almost touched 50 percent. For comparison, sales of BEV models in February 2024 only reached 1,444 units, and in March increased to 2,140 units.
Wuling still holds quite strong dominance in this market with a number of superior electric cars. Like Binguo, which sold 817 units, so it was able to outperform models such as the Chery Omoda E5 with results reaching 608 units.
