RiderTua.com – Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) successfully sold 32k cars throughout January and February. These results still give it a market share of 21.4 percent. From these results, Daihatsu noted that the Sigra remains its best-selling car, followed by the Gran Max Pick-up and Terios. Although other models also contribute satisfactory results too.
Daihatsu Sold 32kd Cars Two Months Ago
Even though the market conditions are not good, Daihatsu can still record quite satisfactory sales results. With 32k units sold in January and February, they could hold 21.4 percent of the market during that period. And from the results he has obtained so far, the Sigra is still his best-selling car with a sales contribution of 61 percent.
That’s quite a high figure, but that’s not surprising for an LCGC car like this. Sigra has long been a mainstay for Daihatsu in its segment and overall car sales, especially with its affordable selling price. Apart from the Sigra, the Gran Max Pick-up and Terios are also quite popular, but they haven’t been able to beat the sales of this cheap car.

Keep Dominating
In the LCGC segment, competition is very tight, especially with only five models being sold in Indonesia. However, Sigra has still provided quite strong dominance so far, even with resistance from rivals such as the Honda Brio Satya. Other models, including its twin from Toyota, are also quite popular, although they have not been able to catch up with the results obtained by the Sigra.
Meanwhile, the Gran Max Pick-up remains the best-selling commercial car in its market, despite current market conditions. Daihatsu was also previously involved in manipulating the crash tests of a number of its cars, including the Terios and Gran Max. But that didn’t have a big impact on sales.
