RiderTua.com – Toyota was still the leader in car sales in Indonesia throughout last year. From these results, the Kijang Innova became the best-selling model, both in the medium MPV segment and in overall sales. Even so, Toyota has not forgotten the role of the Avanza and Veloz in contributing to its sales so far. Especially with the model always selling well in its segment.
Toyota Still Relies on Avanza-Veloz in the LMPV Segment
Models such as the Avanza and Veloz are still sought after by Indonesian consumers today, especially with the sales they have achieved so far. Initially, Veloz was only presented as the highest variant of the Avanza, before being separated into a separate model. Still, Toyota noted that both of them still recorded quite good sales results.
The Avanza has been present in Indonesia for more than a decade, so it’s not surprising why the model always sells well. Although on several occasions this model is sometimes outperformed by rivals in its class such as the Mitsubishi Xpander and Suzuki Ertiga. But after that, the Avanza made its opponents unable to catch up.

Still Interested
As an LMPV car, it is clear that this type of car is still sought after by Indonesian consumers today. Even with the high demand for SUVs in the four-wheeled market, MPV models are still in demand, including the Avanza. Meanwhile, Veloz, which is still relatively new, has also been selling a lot since it was released at the end of 2021.
From the design of the latest generation model, the Avanza looks more modern but still shows an elegant impression. Its fairly complete features are also another reason why its sales are always number one in the market. Not to mention the many variants offered, including Veloz.
Toyota is now starting to rarely provide small refreshments for its flagship model. But sales so far are still quite good.
