RiderTua.com – Suzuki may still be behind in terms of selling electric cars. Knowing this, they then caught up by preparing a number of BEV models for release. Apart from the eVX, Suzuki is also said to be presenting an electric MPV. Because it has smaller dimensions than the Ertiga, it is possible that this model will be similar to kei cars in Japan.
Suzuki will Present an Electric-Powered MPV
As previously known, Suzuki plans to launch a mass production version of the eVX, although it has not yet announced a release schedule. Even so, this model will be one of several BEV models that it will launch in the next few years. Including the electric-powered MPV model which has started to be talked about a lot recently.
It might sound interesting, because so far most of the newest electric cars are SUVs. Meanwhile, the MPV type is still rarely found, so Suzuki sees this as a good opportunity to present its model. It’s just that this model will have smaller dimensions than the Ertiga.

Sold in India
Then other news said that the electric MPV model would take inspiration from existing Suzuki cars, namely the Spacia. This model is known as one of the kei cars that Suzuki sells in Japan, and this can explain the details about its dimensions being smaller than the Ertiga. Of course, if the model is made small enough, the selling price will be more affordable.
It is also said that this Spacia twin will not use the BEV technology it has so far, but will borrow it from Nissan. It may sound a bit strange, but Suzuki has used the basis of a number of cars from Nissan, one of which is the Serena as the basis for the luxury Landy MPV. So the collaboration between the two Japanese brands is no longer surprising.
This model will go into production from 2026 in India. So you can be sure that the model will only be sold there.
