RiderTua.com – Suzuki Carry is not only known for its pickup car products in Indonesia. They also offer minibus models for the fleet segment who are looking for passenger cars with more capacity. However, Suzuki ultimately decided not to continue selling this minibus model for a number of reasons. Including focusing on selling pickup models which have been selling quite well in the market so far.
Suzuki Stops Sales of Carry Minibuses
In fact, Carry is not only known for its pickup models, minibus or minivan models are also widely sought after by consumers. Like the old Carry Futura model which was successful in its time, and is one of the cars that is much sought after by Indonesian consumers. Because there is demand in the market, Suzuki is reselling this version, but with a more modern design.
However, it seems that this latest minibus model cannot last much longer, especially with the market being quite competitive. Shifting trends have also made cars like the Carry Minibus less popular with consumers. So Suzuki decided not to sell it anymore in Indonesia for this reason.

Focus on Pickup Models
Of course, it is quite difficult for Suzuki to leave this segment, because the Carry Minibus has long been its mainstay here. Even though they still sell commercial minibus models such as the APV, it is clear that the Carry has become an iconic commercial car in the two markets. Not to mention the used models which are much sought after by consumers to this day.
Now they only have the pickup version, which has more fans in the market. Suzuki really didn’t have another choice, and this was the best choice. They also still offer other passenger cars such as the Ertiga to the XL7, but neither of them can replace the Carry’s popularity in its segment.
