RiderTua.com – Toyota was successful in participating in the IIMS 2024 automotive exhibition which was held for 10 days. They don’t present many new cars, but they are still helped by orders for environmentally friendly cars. Throughout these 10 days, Toyota was able to collect up to 2,540 unit orders from exhibition visitors. Most of it was contributed by his hybrid car.
Toyota: Many Hybrid Cars Ordered at IIMS 2024
Regarding hybrid car sales, Toyota is still the number one manufacturer in Indonesia, with the Kijang Innova Zenix and Yaris Cross being its mainstays so far. Especially at automotive exhibitions, where both of them always record quite impressive order numbers. It is not surprising why the Innova Zenix and Yaris Cross Hybrid were able to contribute to the majority of orders received by Toyota during IIMS 2024.
Overall, Toyota was able to collect 2,540 orders from IIMS 2024 visitors. Most of this was contributed by its hybrid cars, especially the Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid which ordered 411 units and the Yaris Cross HEV 217 units. The results are quite good, considering that this type of car is still sought after by consumers today.

Apart from these two models, Avanza, Veloz and Innova Zenix ICE engines are also widely ordered by consumers. If you pay attention, most of the cars ordered are MPV cars, such as the Kijang Innova Zenix, Avanza and Veloz. In fact, the number of orders is not filled by many SUV models, except for the Yaris Cross which is included in the list.
Toyota doesn’t launch many new cars, but only one model was released, namely the latest generation Vellfire Hybrid. However, this luxury MPV model has received a good response from consumers and 55 units have been ordered. Meanwhile, 57 units of its twin, the Alphard, were ordered, only two units different from the Vellfire.
Now Toyota is satisfied with the results obtained during the automotive exhibition. Especially with hybrid cars which are selling well.
