RiderTua.com – MG Motor car sales in the last few months in Indonesia are still quite good. Previously, models such as the ZS and HS contributed to sales so far. However, now MG Motor is starting to be helped by its electric cars such as the 4 EV and ZS EV. Especially at IIMS 2024, where both of them are the main contributors to bookings.
MG Motor Received 1.6 Thousand Orders from IIMS Visitors
Talking about MG Motor, usually they always rely on selling their petrol or ICE cars, even though they are still imported from abroad. However, since releasing the electric car, they have become more serious about pursuing car electrification in Indonesia. So the ZS EV and 4 EV are assembled locally, so that later they can be sold at affordable prices.
So far, both of them are still selling well in their markets, especially at the IIMS 2024 exhibition which was held a few days ago. During the exhibition, MG Motor launched two of its newest electric cars, namely the Maxus 9 and ES EV. Of the 1,668 units ordered by exhibition visitors, 1,125 units were donated by 4 EV.

Locally Assembled Model
Of course, this figure is quite high for a BEV model like the 4 EV, especially with the selling price being quite affordable. Even though this car cannot get incentives because the domestic component content is still below 40 percent, MG can sell it at a friendly price. They even lowered the selling price a few days before.
So it’s not surprising why IIMS visitors are very interested in the 4 EV, apart from its design, this model is selling well because of its price tag. Apart from these models, the ZS EV is also quite widely ordered, followed by other models such as the ZS ICE and HS engines. For the Maxus 9 and ES EV it is still not certain how many units have been ordered, but at least both have been welcomed by the Indonesian people.
4 EV and ZS EV are one of the locally assembled BEV cars that are much sought after by consumers. Moreover, the quality is guaranteed.
