RiderTua.com – Honda was one of the car manufacturers affected by the decline in four-wheeled market conditions in Indonesia last month. It’s just that the sales results were not as bad as expected, with 6,507 units sold in April 2024. The results obtained by Honda at that time were able to make it the third best-selling car brand in Indonesia. Models like the Brio are still its best-selling cars.
Honda Brio is Still its Mainstay in Indonesia
Honda car sales are usually not always in the top three, sometimes they are always in the top five. They were able to record quite good sales results of 6,507 units, and maybe this result is not too much. But at least they were able to record such high sales results amidst market conditions that were less supportive for selling their cars.
Of the several models sold, the Brio is still the best-selling car, with 3,434 units sold and contributing 52.7 percent of the total sales obtained by Honda. Of course that is a good result, especially for a car that has a lot of demand in the market. The LCGC Satya model and RS city car are much sought after by buyers in their respective segments.

Market Conditions Decline
Even with declining market conditions, Brio remains a mainstay for Honda amidst these conditions. Apart from Brio, they also rely on sales from other models, especially from the SUV line-up. HR-V, BR-V, WR-V, to CR-V still contribute quite good results, but their sales results still cannot surpass Brio.
In the future, Honda will increase its car sales in Indonesia after going through this difficult period. They hope that in the following months the market condition will be better than last month, including throughout the first quarter of this year. In this way, the car sales target in Indonesia for this year can be achieved.
