RiderTua.com – Mitsubishi experienced a drastic decline in car sales in Indonesia last month. Not only them, many other car brands also experienced the same thing, with sales dropping by more than 50 percent. Maybe this will make Mitsubishi doubt its car sales target in Indonesia for this year. However, the opposite is true, where they are still confident that this year’s target can still be achieved.
Mitsubishi Experiences Significant Decline in Car Sales
Even though a number of automotive exhibitions were held, this alone was not enough to increase car sales during the first quarter of this year. This condition worsened in April, where the results obtained were less than last March. Mitsubishi was one of those affected by the decline in sales.
Last April, sales were only recorded at 4,006 units, down 34.9 percent from the previous month with 6,153 units sold. Indeed, Mitsubishi can no longer avoid this condition, especially with market conditions that are not very supportive for its sales. From the large number of holidays to the weakening of domestic economic conditions, these are some of the causes of this significant decline.

More New Cars
Mitsubishi also knows that the car sales target in Indonesia for this year is 1.1 million units, and this figure is clearly not a small number. They know that the market conditions are very difficult to record better sales results. But that doesn’t mean this target can’t be achieved, because they have just passed the first quarter of this year.
This means that Mitsubishi believes that car sales this year can still be increased even further. Moreover, manufacturers often launch lots of new cars in Indonesia, so the market will always be busy with many models being offered to consumers. This also includes providing attractive offers for car purchases.
