RiderTua.com – GWM Tank has only sold one model in Indonesia, namely the 500 model. But this SUV with a hybrid engine has received a good response from consumers, even though this model is priced at more than IDR 1 billion. But for a car like the GWM Tank 500, this price is in accordance with the quality it has. In fact, they got a lot of orders from consumers, which caused long queues that lasted up to three months.
GWM Tank 500 is Priced at IDR 1.2 Billion in Indonesia
Previously, GWM (Great Wall Motor) officially started selling its cars in Indonesia, with models such as the Haval H6 and Jolion and the Tank 500 provided. Of these three models, the GWM Tank 500 has a fairly expensive price of up to IDR 1.2 billion. Even though it is a premium class SUV, the price is in line with the quality it has.
Even though the price is relatively expensive, the Tank 500 still gets a good reception from the market. GWM said that they had collected many orders from consumers, perhaps hundreds of units had been ordered. Even though it’s a small number, that alone creates a long queue of orders of up to three months.

Still Imported
In fact, GWM is still bringing in the Tank 500 in CBU form from abroad, or in other words, it is still being imported. So it’s not surprising why this model has long order queues lasting several months. Indeed, the factory in Thailand not only meets demand in Indonesia, but also in other countries.
GWM apologizes to Indonesian consumers who wanted to buy this car and had to queue for up to three months. Of course, this has become something that can no longer be avoided, especially with the high demand for new cars. If one day GWM starts car production, it is not clear whether the Tank 500 will also be assembled locally even though it is a premium class SUV.
