RiderTua.com – Toyota and Daihatsu are the car brands that have two LCGC cars in Indonesia, namely Calya-Agya and Sigra-Ayla. These four models are up against the Honda Brio Satya which is the only rival in the market so far. Entering May, Toyota and Daihatsu made price adjustments for the four LCGC cars. Meanwhile, the Brio Satya is still being sold at its old price.
Toyota and Daihatsu Increase LCGC Prices
LCGC cars are still one type of car that is much sought after by Indonesian consumers to this day. Even without incentives, sales have been quite good over the past few years, even with the remaining five models. The five models consist of the Toyota Calya and Agya, Daihatsu Sigra and Ayla, and Honda Brio Satya.
As usual, entering a new month is always accompanied by an increase in car prices, and this is what Toyota and Daihatsu did with their respective LCGC models. Agya, which was initially priced at IDR 167.9 million to IDR 191.4 million, has now increased to IDR 170.9 million to IDR 194.4 million. Meanwhile, for Calya, with prices starting from IDR 164.7 million to IDR 187.4 million, the price changes to IDR 167.3 million to IDR 190 million.

Brio Satya Still Offers Old Prices
Then the Daihatsu Ayla, priced from IDR 135 million to IDR 190.9 million, rose to IDR 136 million-IDR 191.9 million. Sigra, which was originally priced at IDR 138 million-IDR 181.6 million, has now increased to IDR 139 million-IDR 182.6 million. If you look, Toyota gave a fairly high price increase of up to IDR 3 million, while Daihatsu only increased it by IDR 1 million.
With the increase in prices for LCGC cars from Toyota and Daihatsu, Honda is still selling the Brio Satya at its old price. This model has become its flagship in this segment, and is able to fight its strongest rivals such as Sigra. Although sometimes Sigra is always superior to Brio Satya in sales results.
