Jaecoo will be Present in Indonesia Sometime Next Year
The name Jaecoo still sounds foreign to many people, obviously because this brand was only introduced about a year ago. Because it has just arrived, there are only two products sold by Jaecoo, namely J7 and J8, and even then the market has only reached a number of countries. But Chery has targeted to expand its market even further, of course with the aim of allowing consumers to get to know one of the brands under its umbrella more closely.
Indonesia is now the next destination country for Jaecoo after being present in Thailand and Malaysia. The model itself has been seen several times, and Chery has indeed confirmed the existence of this model which is currently carrying out road tests. The model in question, namely the Jaecoo 7 (J7), is currently being tested to see what the car’s capabilities are like when driven on various road conditions such as in Indonesia.
New SUV Models
Chery ensures that Jaecoo will sell environmentally friendly cars, both electric and plug-in hybrid (PHEV). It’s just that the Jaecoo 7 that was tested on the road still uses a petrol engine, but actually this model has a PHEV variant. The problem is, none of the two cars he sells offer BEV variants.
Maybe Chery could have plans to introduce an electric variant for the Jaecoo car in the future. Meanwhile, they cannot confirm when Jaecoo will be present in Indonesia to start sales. It looks like they still haven’t decided which model to sell, considering that only two models have been released so far.
