RiderTua.com – So far, Suzuki has relied on selling a number of cars in Indonesia, such as the Ertiga and XL7. Even though they rely on locally assembled models, they also sell imported or CBU models. However, recently Suzuki made price adjustments for the CBU Ignis and S-Presso models. Incidentally, both are city car models.

Suzuki Makes Price Adjustments for Two of Its Cars in Indonesia

Both the Ignis and S-Presso are city car models that are favored by Suzuki in their segment. Even though they are placed in the same segment and imported from the same country, the two have not competed with each other for consumers until now. From the selling price, the S-Presso is priced at a more affordable price compared to the Ignis.

Talking about selling prices, Suzuki has just increased the prices of its two city cars. For the S-Presso, this model, which was initially priced at IDR 168.3 million and IDR 178.3 million, has now increased to IDR 169.1 million and IDR 179.1 million. Meanwhile, for the Ignis, the initial price was IDR 212 million to IDR 224 million, increasing to IDR 213.8 million to IDR 225.8 million.

If you look, there is an increase of up to IDR 1 million compared to the original price. Indeed, the increase is not that much, but these two Suzuki models are the only ones experiencing price adjustments in the city car segment. Meanwhile, city cars from Toyota, Daihatsu and Honda have not changed in price, at least for now.

Even though they rely on sales of MPV, SUV, and pickup models, Suzuki still sells other types of models. Of course, this is done so that consumers can have more choices in the market, while at the same time meeting consumer demand. Apart from the Ignis and S-Presso, Suzuki also sells the Baleno Hatchback and Grand Vitara imported from India.

The city car segment is still developing well even amidst the increasing trend of SUV cars. Suzuki itself offers three SUV models in Indonesia, including two Jimny variants.
