RiderTua.com – Want to experience the euphoria of MotoGP firsthand? How much are weekend tickets, how cheap or expensive is it to watch Sunday’s racing live at the track? If you want to watch the 2024 season’s races live, it’s time to start looking for tickets because we still have the freedom to choose seats.
The policies of each track operator regarding ticket prices are very different. Spain relies on cheap weekend passes and sometimes doesn’t even offer daily passes (yet). Barcelona tickets are relatively cheap at 80 euros (Rp. 1.3 million) to see MotoGP action from Friday to Sunday, while a weekend Formula 1 race at the same track costs at least 510 euros (Rp. 8.7 million).
But there is also a big range in MotoGP. Mugello for example, if we only want to watch MotoGP on Friday it costs only 35 euros (Rp. 600 thousand), the VIP weekend costs 4,064 euros (Rp. 69 million).
How expensive are MotoGP tickets?

Prices for the European GP are consistently within a fairly comparable range. What makes the difference is the atmosphere, supporting programs, the quality of the location and the expected racing action, and of course the unobstructed view of the track. It makes a difference whether we only see the bike in our field of vision for a few seconds or most of the lap.
In general, many race tracks offer early bird discounts up to several weeks before the race. Usually it will save around 10 percent. Direct tickets from track operators are almost always the cheapest option, as brokers (logically) charge additional fees for various additional services or do not always transparently combine ticket prices into packages with accommodation, travel, etc.
In races outside Europe the price calculations are sometimes crazy. The more exotic the location, the wider the scope seems to be. There is currently no official price for the Indian GP. Last season, day passes were available locally from the official website for just 800 rupees (equivalent to 9 euros/RP 152 thousand). However, European brokers are currently asking for 268 euros (Rp. 4.6 million) to watch a weekend race at the Buddh Circuit in 2024.
The Malaysian GP in Sepang should also be considered considering that for only 20 euros (Rp. 343 thousand) you can watch racing all weekend, a record low price! The fact that there are still no tickets available for the Kazakhstan GP in less than 3 months can be seen as an indication that the event is still uncertain.
